Happy New Year, coffee lovers!
We here at Thrasher Coffee want to tell you a little about our progress in 2016, what’s on deck for this year, and most importantly, thank you for your support as we have continued to grow our business!
As most of you know, we are a small family-owned business in North Georgia. We tend to stay out of Atlanta and focus on our surrounding communities as well as our national online audience. To date, we have shipped to all 50 states as well as oversees to several military bases. (It’s awesome to know so many folks are enjoying a good cup of Thrasher Coffee every morning.) Last year, Texas bought the most coffee, ringing in as our most popular state! It was closely followed by California and our home-state of Georgia. Thank all of you very much, your support and kind letters mean so much to us!
In 2016 we made a lot of new friends. We met a local leather craftsman, Larry, of New Ground Supply. He made us some incredible leather wrapped, mason jar coffee mugs. They were a huge hit! We love working with other local business to rise up together. We also teamed-up with a local biscotti maker, Regina, of Regina’s Farm Kitchen. We met at the Kennesaw State University farmer’s market, and she now makes biscotti with our coffee as an ingredient. Of course, our old friends at The Local Exchange and the Australian Bakery Café have continued to be awesome partners. They were some of our first allies and have been incredible to work with!
We are very thankful to our new friends at And That! in Kennesaw. They are a new concept store from Bed, Bath & Beyond that focuses on unique home goods as well as local groceries. They are opening a 2nd store in Jacksonville, FL right now! Also, we are so proud and thankful to now work with Kroger. It feels great and means a lot to have a gigantic industry leader work hand-in-hand with small business. Our first in-store show was a hit, and so much fun. We hope you’ll ask your local Kroger to carry Thrasher Coffee this year!
We brought you all a lot of new merchandise last year: several mug designs, tumblers, and all kinds of bundles. We introduced free shipping on 2lbs and over orders. We also rolled out 2 new coffees with Bouquet Blend & Elysium! Our sponsorship of Kennesaw State continued and we started a sponsorship with Kennesaw Mountain High School. The city of Kennesaw’s parks & recreation department were a true pleasure to work with as well. The best part of this business is the people you meet – far and wide, we are grateful to know you! We will always strive to keep you happy, excited, and proud to drink Thrasher Coffee. Thank you so much for helping us grow. This will be a great year!
