Doppio Luigi Pack (2 Cigars, 2 Bags)
Born in Marche, Italy, in 1891, patriarch of the Vallorani family, Luigi Vallorani, had an affinity for fine cigars. In the evening he could often be found tending a fire, with a smoldering cigar on the mantle. One cold Italian night, as he reached for his cigar, he picked up a scorpion instead by mistake. He quickly tossed it in the fire, narrowly avoiding a nasty sting. This is one of many examples that capture the essence of Luigi’s long life. He was a strong, independent man who was not afraid to resort to violence if it meant protecting his family and his business. This is where we derive this robust cigars namesake.
When you walk the streets of Italy, you’ll also discover that Italians know no strangers. If you take the opportunity to visit one of the many cafes in any Italian city, you’ll be greeted with warm and sincere hospitality. “Buon Giorno!” You’ll be offered gelato, a cannoli, likely a robust cup of caffé. Italians love their coffee almost as much as their wine. By the time you regretfully move on, you will be among friends. To this end, we proclaim “Buon Giorno,” and invite you to take a moment to live deeply and enjoy this robust Italian roast with us, your new friends, before you tackle life’s newest adventure.
